Held Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the inaugural Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week (ADGHW) was a testament to the industry’s resilience and adaptability in the face of unprecedented challenges.

Healthcare leaders, policymakers, stakeholders and disruptors from around the world came together to address global perspectives and challenges, centred around ‘Accelerating the Future of Global Healthcare.’

ADGHW 2025 will build on this conversation. Through a diverse program including keynote addresses from world-renowned health leaders, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, and an expansive exhibition showcasing the latest in technology, ADGHW aims to pave the way to transition from healthcare to health.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

The Abu Dhabi Department of Health is one of the most important regulative bodies of the Healthcare Sector in the United Arab Emirates. It is responsible for developing policies and strategies with an overarching policy that sets out the objectives against each policy priority area and the strategies to achieve them.

It also regulates and licenses healthcare facilities, professionals and provides public health services. It also develops programmes and initiatives, health education and awareness campaigns and ensures excellence in Healthcare for the community by monitoring the health status of the population and ensuring that healthcare facilities are state of the art.
