Dr Sara received her specialist clinical and research training at the world-renowned Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, culminating in a DPhil (PhD) from Oxford University on the genetics and physiology of regional adipose deposition and insulin resistance. Her career has been shaped by her interest in genetic endocrine disorders (particularly in diabetes and obesity), physiology, insulin resistance and obesity.
